Before starting anything, ALWAYS take a look at what already exists (On the vault for example). Start with something small, it can be an add-on, a slight modification to someone else work like : a new skin for an existing creature model, a new tile for a set, a new door, a few inventory icons, etc. it can also simply be a work on compatibility (porting a hak for CEP compliance, getting something up to the latests patchs, merging two existing haks with similar content, etc.).

Below are some ideas about what work can be done for NWN Custom Content.

For tilesets, armors, cloths, weapons, placeables, ...

  • Antic (Roman, Greek, Persia)
  • Celtic
  • Arabian Nights
  • African (tribal, shamans, rituals, savanah, ...)

[edit] Creatures

Some creatures that can't be found on nwvaul or are to be updated for the recent patches :

  • Phoenix
  • Pegasus
  • Chimaera

etc.

I hope filling this page up will give new CC providers ideas (I'm a bit sick of the Yet Another Orc Model syndrom - no offense meant).
